License and activation
Capper requires a license key before the command panel can open. A purchase may be activated on up to three Macs, subject to the product configured in Polar. A Mac must be explicitly deactivated before its key can be replaced or its activation slot reused.
Local and Cloud plans
The one-time Capper License enables Local model-server use. An active Cloud subscription enables both Local and Capper Cloud modes. There is no free trial. Polar is the merchant of record for purchases and subscriptions.
Cloud request credits
One completed model completion is one request. A request stopped after its first response token also consumes one credit; an upstream failure or cancellation before the first token does not. The service stops at zero credits and does not create an overage charge.
Third-party services
Local model hosts, custom servers, Polar, OpenRouter, model providers, GitHub, and Apple services have their own terms and availability. Capper does not control a user-chosen custom server or locally installed model.
